The association aims to strengthen and practice water sports in general, sailing in particular, in the Central Limburg Water Sports Area. We want to do this in an association context.
Maas en Roer exists since 1909. The association is distinguished by the Royal Medal of Honor. The patroness is HRH Princess Margriet.
Maas en Roer has more than 700 members and is a real association harbour. There are only 3 people employed by the association. Much of the work is done by a large number of volunteers in various committees.
